Nyne Hotels Lake Lodge - Colombo

The room was stylish but had a damp smell that bothered me.

Reasonably clean and luxurious hotel with magnificent and lovely location within walking distance of a number of restaurants.

High quality and efficient staff, it was really really nice stay.

We booked double room, it was huge😃

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The place is tucked away on a quiet street, nice and peaceful. The breakfast was delish, loads of tasty options. I loved the cozy retro vibe of my room and it was clean too.

The room could get a bit stuffy at times and some mozzies were buzzing around. The common areas felt a bit cramped during peak hours.

Everything was really good, the service was terrific! The room we booked was airy and tastefully decorated with AC, a rear window, as example as described. The location was magnificent, within easy walking distance of National Art Gallery.

Charming stay with great food

Really loved the vibe here! The staff were super nice and helped us out with anything we needed. The restaurant was a highlight for sure, the food was delicious and well-priced. We did have a bit of noise from the restaurant during dinner prep, though. A neat lil place for a family getaway.

The rooms are quite comfortable with a charming atmosphere, and the restaurant is nicely decorated, serving excellent breakfasts that are worth waking up for.

There's a bit of a layout issue. The beautiful rooms upstairs are much better than the downstairs ones, which feel boxed in. Essentials like bedside outlets are missing, and the shower lacks a shelf for soap and shampoo, leading to some impractical moments. On top of that, noise can be a problem. For light sleepers, the sound from nearby rooms can be disruptive, particularly if you're near communal areas.

The location is superb was nice. Staff were friendly, always ready to assist, providing umbrellas during the rain and storing our bags after checkout. Although the room was spacious and the retro style charming, some mosquito presence was noted due to the weather. Limited breakfast options are available, requiring pre-orders for local dishes, which could be more accommodating.

lovely atmosphere but room ventilation needs attention

The lovely building provided a comforting retreat, and the staff were friendly, going out of their way to assist us. The restaurant impressed with its quality, serving delicious meals at a great value. Enjoying the beautiful garden view while sipping coffee in the morning was good.

Loved my stay here! The icy poles on arrival were a refreshing treat, and the bed was super comfy. Just a heads up, the restaurant area could get a bit warm, but honestly, that didn't spoil my stay at all. 🌟

The room was immaculate with a beautifully designed bathroom that felt luxurious. The breakfast spread was excellent with various delicious options. I enjoyed a lovely garden view that added to the serene atmosphere .

It was just a well-suited match for a weekend excursion in Colombo with reasonable value. The welcome popsicle and coffee were a nice touch when we arrived early. Consider requesting a room away from the kitchen to avoid noise.

The hotel room was well-appointed and modern, with convenient amenities like a private safe, air conditioning, and a mini bar. the location was absolutely perfect, close to many restaurants, street food, and the center of Colombo. - the food at the hotel was outstanding.

Our room had AC and was tastefully decorated with really comfy beds. the location here is top-notch, especially if you want to be close to an art gallery and a temple. 🌟 Walking distance to both!
